Halloween is coming up and was in mood for something dark and morbid this time.

I don't really celebrate those kind of holidays but lately I saw a lot of pictures from this Latin-American Holiday "Dia de muertos" --> [link] which takes place around Halloween (or Samhain or Allerheiligen... whatever you want to call it). I just love the way people dress up for that day and I always wanted to try that kind of makeup.
I tell you... The makeup took me ages! And it still looks kind of messy. I'm not really satisfied with it, but I couldn't do any better on my own.
I hope you enjoy it anyways. I wish you all a happy Halloween/Samhain/Dia de muertos/Allerheiligen!

Dia de muertos... Dia de los muertos... I don't know how it is really called, since the web offers both variations. Maybe someone Latin-American can help out

EDIT:

was so kind to explain that it's "Día de muertos"

and that this kind of look belongs to La Catrina, The Lady of the Dead. So I decided to update the title. Seems more fitting than the previous one

I would love to know where you got the head scarf...
I got the scarf from my mum's closet.
I don't really speak spanish, but I understand most of it. So thank you for your lovely comment
